Nature Museum of Grafton: Be Aware; Care for the Black Bear!

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Join the Nature Museum of Grafton at the Springfield Town Library on Wednesday, July 12, at 11 a.m., for a presentation on black bears. Discover the intelligence and beauty of these 200-pound omnivores, and learn how to safely coexist with them. This event includes a story reading, an exploration of black bear bio-facts, and an engaging black bear experience.
The Nature Museum of Grafton has more events at the library, including “Thrive and Survive” on Wednesday, July 19, at 11 a.m., “Super Scat! Species and their Feces” on Wednesday, July 26, at 11 a.m., and “Lettuce Learn About Lagomorphs” on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. The last presentation for the summer will be “Fairy Houses Building” on Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m., at The Commons Park, Summer Hill Street, Springfield, Vt.
