Free Teen Sewing Class

Pre-registration is required as space is limited! Open to teens ages 15 – 18

Joining this free class will ensure that participants can use the sewing machines during our PRIDE community quilting event on Thursday, June 18th.

Learn how to use our sewing machines. Participants will learn the parts of the sewing machines, how to change needles and presser feet, wind a bobbin and thread the machine, how to get the right tension, trouble shoot problems, sew basic stitches and stretch stitches, and buttonholes.

This class will end at 5 pm giving participants time to walk to Broad St. Park for the PRIDE flag raising.
