LUDLOW, Vt. – On Sunday, Sept. 10, the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 36 Ludlow held their 19th annual golf tournament at Killington Golf Course. The overall winners, shooting a 10 under par score of 62, consisted of the defending team of Jake Lombard, Joel Lombard, Kurt Lombard, and Troy Demers. Second place, also shooting a 10 under par of 62 but coming up just short with a match of cards was Andrew Taylor, Chelsea Moore, Tim Olesky, and Torey Surething. Rounding out the top three with a score of 64 was the team of Peter Girouard, Suzanne Auger, Larry Kelley, and Sandi Kelley. This tournament was a fundraiser to support our local veterans and children, and with the support of all the players as well as our local sponsors, we can donate to these worthy causes. Other tournament winners were: closest to the pin for men, John Taylor Jr.; closest to the pin for women, Amy Taylor; and the closet to the line winner was Shane Taylor.
