Mount Holly Snow Flyers thank landowners, announce deadlines

MOUNT HOLLY, Vt. – The Mount Holly Snow Flyers are thrilled to announce preparations for the upcoming riding season, and extend sincere gratitude to the community members whose generosity makes the trails possible.

The start of the season is looking promising. We are excited to share that we have been experiencing snow every day, coupled with consistently cold temperatures. We are optimistic that this early wave of fantastic weather will continue to lay down a solid base, and allow our volunteers to groom exceptional trails for our riders.

The Snow Flyers would like to offer a profound and heartfelt thank-you to the many private landowners who generously allow riders to utilize their property. Without their cooperation and community spirit, our extensive trail system would not exist. We urge all riders to remember that we are guests on these lands, and to always practice respectful and safe riding.

To increase our visibility and exposure, the Mount Holly Snow Flyers sign board has been relocated to Route 103.

We are proud to have the support of approximately 20 businesses who sponsor our club with a trailside sign. We currently have openings for new businesses who wish to advertise and support the Snow Flyers. Please contact the club for more details on how to get involved.

Riders are strongly encouraged to purchase their Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) Trails Maintenance Assessment (TMA) now. Don’t miss out on the early-bird pricing. To qualify for the discount, your TMA must be purchased before Dec. 15. To purchase your TMA, visit the VAST website at www.vtvast.org. When selecting your affiliated club, please remember to choose the Mount Holly Snow Flyers.

Lastly, the Mount Holly Snow Flyers wish all of our neighbors, family, friends, and supporters a very warm and happy Thanksgiving. We look forward to seeing you all on the trails soon.
