MOUNT HOLLY, Vt. – The Mount Holly Snow Flyers are trading the snowpacks for the greens this summer. The club has officially announced its upcoming “Let’s All Putt Together” golf outing fundraiser, scheduled for Sunday, July 19, at 8 a.m., at the scenic Fox Run Golf Club in Ludlow, Vt. Registration is now open, and the club is actively seeking both players and community sponsors to help make the event a success.
Proceeds from the annual tournament will directly benefit the Mount Holly Snow Flyers’ community programs, including their ongoing trail maintenance efforts and their local scholarship program, which supports graduating senior students in the region.
“While our passion is usually hitting the trails on sleds, this golf outing is one of our most important events of the year,” said Robert Beardmore, club representative. “It brings the community together in the beautiful Vermont summer to support the work we do year-round – from maintaining safe, accessible trails, to backing the next generation of local students through our scholarship fund.”
The fundraiser is a scramble format open to golfers of all skill levels. Foursomes and individual golfers are welcome. Early registration is encouraged, as spots fill up quickly.
Businesses and individuals can support the cause through sponsorship tiers, including Tee Sponsors, Green Sponsors, and Tournament Partners. It’s a fantastic way for local businesses to gain visibility while supporting a staple community organization. The club is also accepting donations of raffle prizes and auction items.
