LUDLOW, Vt. – On Sunday, Sept. 7, the Ludlow Sons of the American Legion Squadron 36 held their 21st annual golf tournament, at Killington Golf Course. The overall winners, shooting a 13 under par score of 59, consisted of the team of Todd Sanderson, Brian Sanderson, Kevin Blanchard, and Brett Jasiski. Also shooting a score of 59 but losing with a match of cards was the second-place team of Jake Lombard, Kurt Lombard, Joel Lombard, and Troy Demers. Rounding out the top three, with a score of 61, was the team of Tom Hyjek, Mike Hyjek, Mike Martin, and Woody Rodriques. This tournament was a fundraiser to support our local veterans and children, and, with the support of all the players as well as our local sponsors, we can donate to these worthy causes. Other tournament winners were closest to the pin for men Jason McLeod, closest to the pin for women Jody Matthews, and the closet to the line winner was Torey Surething.
