LUDLOW, Vt. – Calling all area businesses and interested community members, to help make this season extra festive. The Expeditionary School at Black River (ESBR) is excited to announce its Festival of Wreaths fundraiser, in which local businesses and/or individuals are invited to decorate a holiday wreath to donate for a silent auction, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 1-4 p.m., at the Ludlow Community Center. All are welcome to attend the event and bid on these one-of-kind wreaths, as well as other exciting silent auction gifts for this holiday season. All proceeds will benefit local education, as ESBR continues to serve the community with a unique and accessible learning experience.
Now in its sixth year of operation based on the Expeditionary Model, ESBR students learn through many hands-on, project-based activities, to complement their regular curriculum. Fundraising assists in assuring students have as many resources as possible to reach these learning goals. We hope all will join in this fun and festive way to support the students.
