BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – The Bellows Falls Alumni Association is proud to announce the members of the 2026 Alumni Queen court. These outstanding seniors from Bellows Falls Union High School (BFUHS) will be recognized during the association’s Alumni Weekend celebration, taking place June 19-21.
Selected by their classmates, the members of the Alumni Queen court exemplify the leadership, academic achievement, athletic excellence, community involvement, and school spirit that have long been hallmarks of Bellows Falls Union High School.

Avery Dole
Avery Dole, daughter of Amanda Anderson and Ira Dole, of Bellows Falls, has been actively involved in academics, athletics, leadership, and community service throughout her high school career. She has been a member of the field hockey program for four years, including three years on the varsity team, and has competed on the varsity tennis team throughout high school. She has also participated in varsity track and field for two years.
Dole has demonstrated strong leadership through her involvement as vice president of the Class of 2026 for all four years and as a member of student council, serving as vice president during her senior year. She has also participated on the senior math team, served on the prom committee, and been involved in the BFUHS Drama Club’s spring musicals.
Outside of school, Dole has dedicated her time to coaching youth field hockey and has worked as a camp counselor at Meeting Waters YMCA for the past three years.
Following graduation, Dole will attend Pace University, where she plans to major in psychology. She is honored to follow in the footsteps of family members who were proud Terrier students and alumni, and is grateful for the opportunity to represent Bellows Falls Union High School as a member of the 2026 Alumni Queen court.

Natalie Douglass
Natalie Douglass, daughter of Jaimie and Kevin Douglass, of Rockingham, has been actively involved in athletics and student leadership throughout her years at Bellows Falls Union High School. She has participated in girls varsity soccer and tennis throughout all four years of high school. Since her sophomore year, she has been a dedicated member of student council, and she joined the Student Athletic Leadership Team at the beginning of her senior year.
Outside of school, Douglass has spent much of her life working with and caring for horses. She has assisted at multiple barns and developed a strong passion for animal care and equine studies. Her love of animals and the outdoors has played a significant role in shaping her future goals.
Following graduation, Douglass plans to attend college to study animal science. She hopes to build a career working with horses and apply the knowledge and experience she gains through her education to the equine industry.
Douglass would like to thank her family for supporting her in everything she has pursued, and her friends for continually encouraging her to be her best.

Jaelyn Fletcher
Jaelyn Fletcher, daughter of Terri Derby and Brian Fletcher, of Bellows Falls, has been actively involved in athletics, career education, and community service. She has been a member of the varsity softball team for all four years, earning a starting position and helping lead the team to its first state championship appearance in 50 years during her sophomore year.
Fletcher also attended the River Valley Technical Center criminal justice program during her junior and senior years. She was recognized as Student of the Quarter, served as an ambassador for the program, and participated in SkillsUSA, where her crime scene investigation team earned first place in the Vermont competition and qualified for the national competition.
Following graduation, Fletcher plans to attend the University of Maine to study social work and is considering a second major in criminal justice. She hopes to work with youth in the juvenile justice system and is proud to be the first member of her family to pursue a college degree.
Fletcher would like to thank her classmates, family, friends, teammates, coaches, and especially her mother for their support.

Gwendalyn Guild
Gwendalyn Guild, daughter of Thaddeus and Jan Guild, of Cambridgeport, has been actively involved in music, leadership, athletics, and community service. She has participated in concert band, jazz ensemble, and choir throughout high school and has been selected to several prestigious music festivals, including Vermont All-State, New England Music Festival, and District VI ensembles. She has also been a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, serving as both vice president and president.
A dedicated student leader, Guild has been involved in student council for four years and currently serves as president. She has also been elected class president three times. In athletics, she has competed on the soccer and tennis teams throughout high school and has served as a captain of the soccer team for the past two years.
Following graduation, Guild plans to attend the University of Vermont to pursue a degree in music education. She would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for their continued support and encouragement throughout her educational journey.

Myleigh Illingworth
Myleigh Illingworth, daughter of Chad Illingworth and Jessica Illingworth, of Bellows Falls, has been actively involved in student leadership, academics, athletics, and community service. She has been a member of student council, helping with food and clothing drives, Winter Carnival activities, and events with students at Central Elementary School. She was inducted into the National Honor Society during her junior year and has participated in Project Graduation fundraising efforts.
Athletics have played a major role in Illingworth’s high school experience. She has been a member of the varsity field hockey team for three years, earning SVL Honorable Mention recognition her senior year and serving as a captain during the team’s Division II State Championship season. She was also selected to the Twin State Vermont Team and has coached youth field hockey since her freshman year. In addition, she has been a member of the varsity girls tennis team throughout high school.
Following graduation, Illingworth will attend the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Conn. While she is currently undecided on a major, she plans to continue playing field hockey at the collegiate level.
The Bellows Falls Alumni Association congratulates these remarkable young women on their accomplishments and their selection to the 2026 Alumni Queen court. The Alumni Queen will be crowned during Alumni Weekend festivities on Sunday, June 21, at 12:15 p.m., in the Village Square.
The Association invites alumni, families, friends, and community members to join in celebrating the accomplishments of these outstanding students and all members of the Bellows Falls Union High School Class of 2026 during Alumni Weekend.
