LUDLOW, Vt. – The Windsor County Democrats are pleased to announce a public candidate forum featuring Democratic contenders for the 2026 Vermont lieutenant governor race. The event will take place on Saturday, May 30, at the Heald Auditorium, located in the Ludlow Town Hall, 37 South Depot Street, Ludlow, Vt. Seating for the public is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and attendees are asked to be seated by 1:55 p.m. for a 2 p.m. start, as the 90-minute forum is being livestreamed and recorded by Okemo Valley TV.
The forum offers voters a valuable opportunity to hear directly from candidates Esther Charlestin, Molly Gray, and Ryan McLaren as they discuss their visions for Vermont’s future. The event will be moderated by former state Sen. Matt Dunne and Seven Days journalist Hannah Bassett.
The Windsor County Democratic Committee is committed to promoting civic engagement and strengthening the democratic process by providing opportunities for Vermonters to connect with candidates and elected officials. This lieutenant governor candidate forum is the first in a series of candidate forums that Windsor County Democrats are hosting this year ahead of the August primary elections.
