CLAREMONT, N.H. – New Hampshire law requires that the supervisors of the checklist verify the voter checklist every year. Any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past five years must reregister to remain on the checklist, unless the voter registered after the last state general election. The supervisors are sending notice letters to these voters at the address the voter provided when registering.
The supervisors of the checklist for the City of Claremont will hold a session for reregistering voters who have not voted since April 1, 2021, accepting applications for new voter registration and accepting requests for the correction of the checklist on Saturday, July 25, from 3-5 p.m., at the city clerk’s office, Claremont City Hall, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, N.H.

Applicants for registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register.
