WALPOLE, N.H. – Join thousands of volunteers from across New England on Sept. 19 to clean up the Connecticut River and its tributaries as part of the Connecticut River Conservancy’s annual Source to Sea Cleanup. This coordinated effort is a chance to spend a fun day on the river and give back to our shared waters.
In the Monadnock region, volunteers can join cleanup efforts happening in Keene and Swanzey. Help on foot or bring your own boat. All ages and group sizes are welcome.

The Keene and Swanzey sites include both on-foot and boating locations. Due to limited space on the rivers, volunteers should only use small boats such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats.
Volunteers do not require a boat, but those on the water are encouraged to bring life jackets for all passengers. Trash bags and gloves will be provided to all volunteers, and a limited number of T-shirts for volunteers will be available.
