NORTH WALPOLE, N.H. – Virginia “Ginny” Lee (née Virginia Ruth Kent), 83, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, with family and her beloved cat Bella by her side, at her daughter’s home, following complications from a stroke.
Ginny cherished her independence, and believed deeply in living with clarity, dignity, and purpose. With her focus on quality of life, and knowing she would not want to live without the ability to share her wisdom, the decision was made to pursue care through Bayada Hospice.
Born Aug. 3, 1941, in Buffalo, N.Y., Ginny was the daughter of John and Jane (Mayes) Kent. She is survived by her daughter Sarah (Stallings) Noble, son-in-law Gregg Noble, and grandson William Noble.
A graduate of Bennett High School, Ginny was a lifelong learner who earned degrees in journalism, nutrition, and nursing.
Her true calling was hospice nursing. She took immense pride in her nursing career, and never missed an opportunity to say, “I’m a nurse, you know!”
Ginny loved flea markets and the pursuit of “wheeling and dealing.” Though she lived in many places, her heart belonged to Arizona, near the Superstition Mountains.
