SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Our beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather Richard Raymond Beers passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on Nov. 29, 2025, in Springfield, Vt.
Richard is survived by his wife Marjorie; son Richard Allen Beers; daughters Brenda O’Brien and Jennifer Beers; grandchildren Josh, Justin, Michael, Rachel, Mackenzie, and Maggie; and seven great-grandchildren. His son Michael Beers predeceased him.
Richard was born in Butler, Pa., and he attended school there.
He served in the Army National Guard, in the 101st Infantry in New York.
A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held in April.
