WASHINGTON, Vt. – Dale Marie Ellison, 71, died on May 14, 2026, in her home.
She was born Oct. 21, 1954, in Springfield, Vt. She grew up in Ludlow, the daughter of Donald and Virginia (Charleton) Ellison.
She attended Black River High School, where she played field hockey. After Dale graduated in 1972, she went on to attend the University of Vermont.
She enjoyed drawing, spending time outdoors, and talking with her friend Rosalyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jane Creaser.
Dale is survived by her three brothers, Donald Jr., Bruce, and Frank Ellison; and several nieces and nephews.
