GRAFTON, Vt. – The Nature Museum in Grafton is preparing for its biggest event of the year, the Fairy House Festival, to be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27. People from all over New England travel to Grafton to explore the enchanted Fairy Trail and see the magnificent village created by our local school classrooms, neighbors, organizations, and businesses.

This festival and fundraiser is only possible due to the imagination and generosity of our community, and we invite you to join us as a builder or event volunteer to help us host this regional treasure.

This year, we’re excited to welcome the community to our new native gardens and gathering spaces. We have returning performers, The Longshanks and Muscian Dan Frank. Visitors can also look forward to expanded local merchants and food options.

The theme for this year’s festival is “Village Life.”

Note that student volunteers can receive community service hours for their efforts helping a local non-profit. Learn more about volunteering at www.nature-museum.org/fairy-house-festival/volunteer. You can also learn more about being a builder at www.nature-museum.org/fairy-house-festival/be-a-builder.

Festival ticket sales begin in mid-August. Please plan to purchase your tickets online ahead of time, as this helps keep the Fairy Gate running smoothly.
