REGION – The Southern Vermont Young Professionals (SoVTYPs), a program of the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC) and Southeastern Vermont Economic Development Strategy (SeVEDS), has announced a new events calendar which runs through January 2027. The events are a mixture of networking meetups, fun recreation activities, skill-building opportunities, and volunteering in the Brattleboro area. There’s something for everyone.
The next event on the calendar is River & Rye Trivia, on Sept. 17, 6-8 p.m., at River & Rye, 3894 Vermont Route 30 in Jamaica, Vt. Grab a plate and a drink, and maybe your thinking cap, for a night of trivia at River & Rye. Come put your knowledge to the test while supporting local business and enjoying a night out in beautiful Jamaica, organized by Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation. In October, a wildlife tracking workshop is planned in Brattleboro; a holiday meet-up is scheduled for December, in Bellows Falls; and first-time homebuyers workshop is scheduled in Brattleboro, in January.
