REGION – Senior Solutions, council on aging for southeastern Vermont, in partnership with Bellows Falls Area Senior Center and Parks Place Community Resource Center, will be holding an “Age Successfully” health and benefits fair at the Waypoint Center, 17 Depot Street in Bellows Falls, on Friday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., rain or shine. A free barbecue will be available from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The fair is an opportunity for visitors to learn about wellness-based goods and services, to help older Vermonters age successfully.
Exhibitors include teams from Senior Solutions, 3SquaresVT food program, Meals on Wheels, Parks Place Community Resource Center, the Bellows Falls Senior Center, AARP Fraud Watch Network, The Gathering Place and Springfield Adult Day Care Services, Brattleboro Area Hospice, Dartmouth Cancer Center community outreach and engagement, fire safety with the State of Vermont Fire Marshal’s Office, Green Mountain RSVP, HCRS, Lifeline Phones and services, Main Street Arts, The MOOver transportation services, NorthStar Health, the Rockingham Free Library, SEVCA, Tai Chi Vermont demonstrations, Valley Health Connections, Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire, and WOOL-FM, who will be broadcasting a portion of the fair.
