PLYMOUTH, Vt. – Vermont Route 100 between Plymouth Union and West Bridgewater has reopened to traffic at the Bridge 116 site.
Over the last two weeks, crews have poured concrete for the bridge, bridge railing curb, and approach slabs, completing the structural concrete work for the Bridgewater project. While the concrete cured, crews continued working away from the bridge. They placed, graded, and compacted crushed stone for the roadway base throughout the project limits. The contractor has also continued placing and shaping stone along Madden Brook near the bridge.
