BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – Rockingham Old Home Days returned to Bellows Falls on Aug. 1, welcoming an estimated 1,500-2,000 attendees for a day of live entertainment, local vendors, family activities, and community celebration.

Organized by the Greater Falls Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Bellows Falls Downtown Development Alliance, this year’s event featured more than 20 vendors, five live musical performances, family activities, community organizations, demonstrations, and a spectacular fireworks display celebrating the 50th anniversary of the annual tradition.

Throughout the day, visitors explored downtown Bellows Falls, supported local businesses, and enjoyed activities for all ages.

One of the weekend’s biggest successes came Friday evening, during the annual car show, where the hosting car club more than doubled its membership by welcoming approximately 50 new members. Both the car club and Twin Falls Training Center also sold out of concessions.

The festival featured a full day of live music, a busy food court, a family-friendly kids’ area, and a popular demonstration by Vermont Armored Combat that attracted one of the day’s largest crowds and inspired several attendees to learn more about the sport.

The celebration concluded with the community’s 50th-anniversary fireworks display, providing a memorable finale to the day.

The event was made possible through the support of nine sponsors, volunteers, performers, vendors, community organizations, municipal partners, and everyone who attended.

“Old Home Days is about bringing people together,” said Casey Griffin, executive director of the Bellows Falls Downtown Development Alliance. “Seeing thousands of people enjoying downtown, supporting local businesses, and celebrating our community together is exactly what this event is all about. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s celebration such a success.”
