WEATHERSFIELD, Vt. – Watercolor artist Robert O’Brien, of Weathersfield, will be opening his studio and gallery for Fall Open Studio Weekend, sponsored by the Vermont Crafts Council, on Saturday, Oct. 4, and Sunday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day.
New watercolor paintings, prints, note cards, and other art-related items will be on display and for sale during this annual event.
O’Brien has been painting in the watercolor medium for more than 50 years, and is the recipient of many awards throughout his long career as an artist. He is also a sought-after instructor, and teaches workshops locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
O’Brien’s studio is located at 2811 Weathersfield Center Road, Perkinsville, Vt. Follow the bright yellow signs which will direct you there. He will be in Studio #72. Maps will be available at various locations throughout the state and at welcome centers. His studio will be a part of Tour Loop 8, along with six other nearby studios.
