Random Finds Opens at BF Garage

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – Located on the ground floor of the newly renovated Bellows Falls Garage Building at 115 Rockingham Street, sisters Sue Barnett-Brandon and Cheryl Hudson are excited to have recently opened the doors for business at their new variety store, called Random Finds.

“I originally started my jewelry design business, Spotter Designs, on Etsy,” Sue Barnett-Brandon said in a recent interview. “And as my business gained momentum, I always wanted to expand the operation by opening a local retail store.”

When the newly-renovated Bellows Falls Garage Building apartments were recently opened near The Square, the street-level floor of the complex was specifically designed to accommodate a local business venture.

“When the new Garage Building retail space became available, my sister and I decided to put our business plans together – my jewelry design/retail business along with her new variety store business concept – and acquired the space and opened Random Finds a few weeks ago,” Barnett-Brandon said.

Random Finds offers a variety of jewelry and housewares, wall décor, vintage signs, healing bracelets, essential oils and candles, Pampered Chef, and a “wood item” selection of Ouija and other spiritual items. The inventory often changes and evolves from month to month, and they always strive to find unique and appealing items at affordable prices. They also offer various office and media printing services as well.

“Yes, we offer select office and print services such as photocopying, flyers, custom vinyl, business cards, brochures, invitations, and phone chargers. We are looking forward to creating relationships with not only our individual patrons, but also other local businesses and shops in the area.

“We are also currently carrying Halloween costumes, and a wide assortment of Halloween decorations, as well as hosting a ‘Kid’s Coloring Contest’ in which coloring pages will be available at the store for three age groups to participate. Winners will then be chosen in each group, and awarded prizes for their creative efforts.”
