North Star Health carnation sale fundraiser

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – North Star Health will host a community carnation sale to celebrate National Doctors Day, inviting individuals and businesses to recognize local health care providers while contributing to accessible care in the region.

From Feb. 9 – March 12, community members can purchase red carnations, a symbol of Doctors Day, to acknowledge the providers who serve patients and families across North Star Health’s service area.

Carnations can be purchased online through North Star Health’s website, or in person at any North Star Health location. Carnations will be delivered directly to the providers on National Doctors’ Day.

Proceeds from the sale are tax-deductible, and will support North Star Health’s patient-centered primary care, dental, vision, and behavioral health services, ensuring access to care regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

“This fundraiser gives our community a new way to share appreciation for our providers while directly supporting the care they deliver every day,” said Jessica Everlith, director of communications and development.

National Doctors Day, celebrated annually on March 30, is a national day of observation to recognize the contributions of physicians. North Star Health’s carnation sale provides an opportunity to participate and strengthen local, community-based health care.
