CHESTER, Vt. – The Whiting Library Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Kale Burr to the library director position.
Burr has been working at the Whiting Library part time since 2023 and is well known by many of our patrons for her support and willingness to help with all services in the library. Originally hired as a substitute library assistant, she transitioned into the role of a part-time library assistant here in 2024. She had also worked part time at the Springfield Town Library and Kimball Union Academy as a library aide.
Burr has a wide range of library experience and is eager to continue her education at the Whiting Library. She is dedicated to community and lifelong learning. Burr now lives in Chester and is eager to involve herself more in our community.
