Ludlow Rotary Club welcomes local professional Penny Wu

LUDLOW, Vt. – The Ludlow Rotary Club is proud to announce the induction of its newest member, Penny Wu. A dedicated community advocate and local professional, Wu joins the ranks of one of the region’s most active service organizations, further strengthening the club’s mission of “service above self.”

Wu was officially welcomed into the club during a recent meeting held at DJ’s Restaurant, where she was presented with her Rotary pin and greeted by current members.

“We are thrilled to have Penny join our Rotary family,” said Jim Rumrill, past president of the Ludlow Rotary Club. “Her energy, expertise, and clear commitment to the wellbeing of the Ludlow community make her a perfect fit for our upcoming initiatives. We look forward to the perspective and dedication she brings to our service projects.”

The Ludlow Rotary Club is known for its extensive local impact, including supporting the annual Duck Race, providing student scholarships, and maintaining local infrastructure projects. As a new rotarian, Wu will collaborate with fellow members to identify and address community needs while participating in Rotary International’s broader global humanitarian efforts.

“I am honored to join the Ludlow Rotary Club,” said Wu. “I have long admired the work this group does to support our schools, neighbors, and local businesses. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and contributing to the club’s legacy of service.”

The Ludlow Rotary Club meets Tuesdays, at 12:15 p.m., at DJ’s Restaurant. Local professionals and community members interested in making a difference are encouraged to visit a meeting or contact the club for membership information.
