LUDLOW, Vt. – The Ludlow Rotary Club was pleased to present $3,050 to Plymouth Fire & EMS during the club’s recent luncheon. The funds represent proceeds from the 27th annual Ralph D. Hogancamp Memorial Duck Race, held in August 2026.

The check was presented to Plymouth Fire Chief Jim Allen and Town Clerk Angela Kissell, recognizing the successful partnership between the Ludlow Rotary Club and Plymouth Fire & EMS in making this year’s event a tremendous success.

This year’s duck race reached an exciting milestone, with the combined efforts of Rotary members and Plymouth Fire & EMS resulting in the sale of all 1,000 ducks – a record for the club.

The annual Ralph D. Hogancamp Memorial Duck Race has become a much-loved summer tradition, bringing the community together for an afternoon of fun while raising funds that benefit local organizations and services.

The Ludlow Rotary Club extends a sincere thank-you to Plymouth Fire & EMS, everyone who purchased a duck, the volunteers who helped with the event, and the community for its continued support. Selling 1,000 ducks was truly a team effort, and the results demonstrate what can be accomplished when local organizations and community members work together.
