BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – Jamaican Jewelz in Bellows falls announced recently that its brick-and-mortar restaurant, located at 65 The Square, will close. According to a post from the Jamaican Jewelz Facebook page, “After two wonderful years at our brick-and-mortar location in Bellows Falls, we’ve made the difficult decision not to reopen our restaurant at that location. Rising operating costs and limited customer traffic have made it challenging to grow our business the way we envisioned. While this decision wasn’t easy, we believe it’s the right step toward a stronger future.”
However, they also stressed that they will continue to operate their food truck, adding, “We’re going back to our roots and hitting the road with our food truck and trailer, bringing the authentic Jamaican flavors you know and love directly to you.”
The post continued, “Thank you for two incredible years of love, encouragement, and support. Every meal purchased, every kind word, and every person who walked through our doors has meant the world to us. We’re closing the doors to one chapter, but we’re opening the road to so many new opportunities! This isn’t goodbye — it’s see you on the road!”
