
SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Vermont drag performers Anita Cocktail and Azio Nocturne are bringing fun, music, and storytelling to the community with a family-friendly Drag Story Hour event at the Springfield Town Library on Monday, June 22, at 11 a.m.
Anita Cocktail, from Brandon, Vt., is the mother of the House of Cocktail and has been performing drag for the past nine years. During that time, Cocktail has helped create welcoming events across Vermont, including family-friendly performances and Vermont’s first Youth Pride Prom.
Azio Nocturne is Anita Cocktail’s drag child and has been performing for the past two years. They enjoy entertaining audiences and sharing their love of performance with the community.
Drag Story Hour is a fun and welcoming event that shares messages of acceptance, kindness, and being proud of who you are. The event will include story readings, music, dancing, a Q&A session, and photo opportunities with the performers.

Families, children, and community members of all ages are welcome to attend and enjoy a positive space that celebrates creativity, inclusion, and self-expression.
