“Dr. Venable’s 20 Fun Facts Cabaret” at the Flat Iron Cafe

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – There is a new chiropractic neurologist in town, the new owner of Temple Chiropractic, and he also happens to be an exciting and engaging performer. Join him at the Flat Iron Cooperative Cafe in downtown Bellows Falls, on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 2-4 p.m.

Dr. Taronté Venable will be performing his original, intimate cabaret, in which he shares his stories and experiences as a Black American, combined with songs from various genres, including an original song by the doctor himself. This show debuted at Madame Sherri’s in Keene, to enthusiastic audiences. His performances have been described as powerful and full of soul, showcasing his rich tones and dynamic range. Venable is a former singer and soloist with New York City’s Stonewall Chorale, and has a long history of participating in choral groups. He recently committed himself to becoming a solo artist, writing his own material and choosing complementary songs from a range of other artists. This cabaret is the first in a series. He is hard at work preparing his next one, “Cultivating Happiness,” so be sure to catch the first one.

Admission is free for this event, and beverages and treats will be available for purchase at the cafe during the performance. Venable will be around for questions and discussion after the performance.
