SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Join Mike Ivankovich on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m., for a Zoom presentation on managing household and estate books. It’s important to note that just because a book is old, doesn’t necessarily mean it has value. The program will cover several factors that determine a book’s worth. Sorting through household books can be like searching for gold, but this program will help attendees learn how to sell their own collection, books they’ve inherited, or books they’re helping someone else sell.
Ivankovich, who has been involved in the antiques and collectibles business for over 40 years, will share his expertise and insights. He has authored more than 20 books and articles in his specialty areas, and is a frequent lecturer. This program covers topics such as how to categorize books into sell, donate, or dump categories, how to identify investment-grade books, and where to sell, donate, or recycle books.
Ivankovich is an expert appraiser, who conducts appraisals for legal purposes including estate, insurance, inheritance, divorce, insurance claims, and non-cash charitable donations. He is also an award-winning auctioneer based in Pennsylvania, recognized as “Auctioneer of the Year” by his peers.
This event is free and open to the public, and if you have any questions, please call 802-885-3108.
