BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – The Community Closet thrift store at Immanuel Episcopal Church, 20 Church Street in Bellows Falls, is having its seasonal, month-long bag sale beginning the week of Aug. 17. You can enter at the 20 Church Street entrance, or at the driveway at 9 School Street near the middle school. Look for the sign on School Street. There is plenty of parking at both entrances. This is an ecumenical effort, as our volunteers represent all the churches in Bellows Falls.
The Community Closet has great savings on all summer clothes. At the end of the year, all proceeds are distributed back into the community to families in need with the assistance of the Rockingham School District.
The Community Closet continues to accept gently used, clean, smoke-free clothing on the days that it is open. It does not accept books or household goods. The store is open on Wednesday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
