CLAREMONT, N.H. – The Claremont community came together for its cleanup event in a big way on Friday, Oct. 9. There were more than 60 volunteers on Pleasant Street who pulled weeds, trimmed plants, put in fresh mulch, and planted mums. They worked so hard it only took four hours from start to finish.
The City of Claremont extends a massive thank-you to LaValley Building Supply, Lambert Supply Co., Claremont Home Depot, Runnings, Claremont Spice & Dry Goods, The Barn Cafe, Granite State Hobbies, Violet’s Book Exchange, TLC Family Resource Center, and all the other Claremont businesses that came out spontaneously to help or donate.
So many amazing volunteers came out from the SRVTC, Sullivan House, and Claremont Garden Club, as well as dozens of community members looking to lend a hand.
