CHESTER, Vt. – The Chester Scarecrow Festival weekend is almost here. The festival is a two-day event, held Oct. 3 and 4, from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. both days. There will be more than 30 vendors and fun for the whole family. The vendors will include food trucks and food vendors on the Green, as well as artisans, craftspeople, and community groups.
There are 26 scarecrows on display on both sides of Main Street. These are not everyday scarecrows, but unique pieces of imagination and talent. Please vote for your favorite, as the winners will be marked on Oct. 3, at 12 p.m.
Don’t forget to also visit the businesses on the Green and all the restaurants and businesses around Chester. It is surely an event you don’t want to miss.
