Cheshire County Conservation District Annual Celebration marks 81 years

WALPOLE, N.H. – This year, the Cheshire County Conservation District (CCCD) is excited to celebrate 81 years of conservation in New Hampshire. Join us for an exciting evening of food, music, and connecting with community on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6-8:30 p.m., at the Walpole Town Hall, 34 Elm Street in Walpole, N.H.

Programming for this year’s event includes conservation project updates from CCCD and awards for exceptional conservation work in the county presented to 2026 Cooperator of the Year Monadnock Berries, 2026 Community Partner of the Year Keene Public Library, and 2026 Educator of the Year Carl Majewski.

In addition to honoring our awardees, enjoy live music by the Milkhouse Heaters, enjoy a catered dinner from CC&D’s Kitchen, enjoy bartending services and libations from Deluxe Parties, and participate in an auction of locally donated items which directly support CCCD’s conservation programs.

CCCD is still accepting donations for auction items. Donations are a great way to support local conservation and provide exposure to your business or project.

To donate an auction item or for more information, contact ellinore@cheshireconservation.org.

All donations to our auction are greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping make this a fun and exciting event to further benefit conservation efforts in Cheshire County.

The cost of tickets to the Annual Celebration includes your meal, activities, and access to the auction. You can purchase your ticket online at www.cheshireconservation.org/event-details/cccds-annual-celebration.

Reserved table tickets for the Annual Celebration include meals, activities, and access to the auction for eight people. Tables seat eight people and are a wonderful option for organizations, or to invite friends and neighbors.
