SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – As the holiday season approaches, at the Springfield American Legion Post 18, we are committed to serving our community and honoring our veterans.
We are hosting our winter toy and food drive to ensure that families in Springfield have a joyful holiday. From now until Dec. 6, we welcome donations of toys, nonperishable food items, and monetary contributions. These will go directly to the Springfield Santa Claus Club gift giving, Christmas meal boxes, and our Angel Tree for Veterans, helping those in need and spreading holiday cheer. All donations may be dropped off at the VFW Post 771, 191 River Street, Springfield, Vt. Your generosity makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors and veterans.
