Rockingham Fire & Rescue Holiday Food Drive

ROCKINGHAM, Vt. – Help us spread warmth this season by supporting families in need throughout the Town of Rockingham. The Rockingham Fire & Rescue department is collecting nonperishable food and essential household items to be distributed to local residents before the holidays.

Donations can be dropped off Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., between Dec. 1 and Dec. 19. The most-needed items are canned vegetables, fruits, soups, chili, and tuna or chicken; boxed meals, including mac and cheese, pasta, rice, stuffing, and instant potatoes; peanut butter, jelly, cereal, oat meal, granola bars, tomato sauce, canned beans, and pasta sides; holiday foods such as instant gravy, cranberry sauce, pie filling, and hot cocoa; warm socks, gloves, or small gifts for kids and seniors; and pet food for families with animals.

Those in need of assistance are welcome to come to Station 1 on Monday, Dec. 22, to pick up food and supplies. If you live in the Town of Rockingham and are unable to drive or travel, please reach out, and we will make sure items are delivered to your home. Contact Nicholas Cushman, EMS coordinator, at 802-376-1107 or nicholas.cushman@srrescue.com.

Together, we can fill the table. Every can, every box, every contribution helps a neighbor in need. Thank you for helping Rockingham Fire & Rescue keep our community strong this holiday season.
