“I’m so tired of Christmas I wish there never would be another one!” exclaimed a discontented-looking little girl, as she sat idly watching her mother arrange a pile of gifts two days before they were to be given. So says Effie in this touching story. Falling asleep, she experiences a strange dream that helps her understand what Christmas is and should be – and was it a dream after all? Father Christmas, spirits, and children help Effie on her journey to reawaken her Christmas joy. Enjoy watching it in our beautiful Christmas “tea room” that we will transform with Christmas lights and candles, trees, wreaths, sleds, and cozy tables to watch the short play from and enjoy your desserts. After the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to take photos of loved ones on the set or around the space.
