ESBR Festivals of Wreaths fundraisers

LUDLOW, Vt. – The Expeditionary School at Black River (ESBR) will be hosting its first Festival of Wreaths fundraiser this upcoming holiday season. Local businesses and community members are welcome to participate. Simply acquire or create your own wreath or wreaths to decorate with your favorite themes to donate to the school. These wreaths will then be auctioned following the Fletcher Memorial Library’s open house on Saturday, Dec. 5. Both events will be open to the public, who may view and bid on their favorite wreaths they hope to claim for their own festivities. All proceeds from the Festival of Wreaths will go to ESBR for local education. Please register for the Festival of Wreaths by Nov. 20 at www.esblackriver.org/first-annual-festival-of-wreaths-silent-auction. For more information and locations to purchase wreaths, please reach out to ESBR Chair Patrick Pullinen at ppullinen@esblackriver.org, ESBR Board Secretary Marissa Selleck at mselleck@esblackriver.org, or board member Melody Reed at melodious54@gmail.com.

ESBR is now in its seventh year of operation. As an independent school, ESBR offers a unique opportunity to utilize funding locally and help the community expand. Providing a specialized and financially viable secondary school option will help the community find ways to thrive. Further information on ESBR is available at www.esblackriver.org. If you would like to learn more about the school or get involved, please contact Head of School Michael Kell at mkell@esblackriver.org or visit www.esblackriver.org. Donations can be made by mailing a check to P.O. Box 485, Ludlow, VT 05149.
