WESTMINSTER, Vt. – The First Congregational Church of Westminster, 3470 U.S. Route 5 in Westminster, Vt., would like to invite you to celebrate Christmas with us. There will be a variety of events to get and keep you in the Christmas spirit, starting with our annual Christmas bazaar.
The Women’s Fellowship will hold its annual Christmas bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the church. The Christmas Shop will be open, and will include crafts, candles, gifts, handmade items, attic treasures, and homemade baked goods. Buy a ticket for our choice raffle with amazing, locally donated gift options.
At 11 a.m., Santa will visit. Children of all ages are invited to do a craft project and take a photo with Santa. Also, the Christmas Cafe will be open for lunch, with soup, chili, sandwiches, and beverages. Come and get your shopping done, or just spend time with friends in the cafe.
Next, on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 4-5 p.m., join us for a musical evening when the Westmoreland Town Band plays their Christmas Extravaganza. This Christmas concert held in Westminster, upstairs at the Congregational Church, is for the whole community. The band is known throughout New England for its excellence, and will kick off their Christmas season in Westminster. A selection of Christmas music will be performed. After the concert, refreshments will be served, and there will be a chance to meet the band and visit with friends and neighbors.
