
ROCKINGHAM, Vt. – Rockingham Old Home Days is back for the 48th year, on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 12-9:30 p.m., at the Waypoint Center in Bellows Falls.
This beloved annual festival brings the community together for a full day of music, local vendors, games, and family-friendly activities, capped off by a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.
Come hungry; this year’s event will feature a wide variety of delicious food from local trucks and vendors, including barbecue, wood-fired pizza, tacos, sweet treats, and more.

Food
Food lovers will find plenty to enjoy, with local vendors offering a wide variety of mouthwatering options. Athens Pizza will be on hand to satisfy your slice cravings, and is also hosting a brand-new hoops contest for attendees to test their skills. Smokin’ Bowls brings their signature comfort food, while the Moose Lodge will be grilling up classic burgers and hot dogs. 802 Soul Kitchen and Bumbles Birria will be serving up bold local flavors, and for those with a sweet tooth, fried dough, snow cones, iced coffee, lemonade, and treats from Mama T’s Sweet Spot will be available throughout the day.
Music
The music lineup kicks off at 1 p.m., with the Milkhouse Heaters, followed by a high-energy performance by Intercept at 2:30 p.m., and wrapping up with MV-19 taking the stage at 5:30 p.m. The festival atmosphere will be alive with sound, laughter, and celebration.
Family activities
Festivalgoers can enjoy performances by circus artists, cheer on battling knights in armor, explore local craft vendors, and take part in interactive experiences like capoeira demonstrations, fish ladder tours, and a hands-on Touch-A-Truck exhibit. Bubble machines, games, and prize giveaways will keep kids and families entertained all afternoon.
Fireworks
The event will finish off with a bang, with a fireworks display over the Connecticut River, at 9:30 p.m.
Pilgrimage
The day of festivities will be followed by a meaningful 119th pilgrimage to the historic Rockingham Meeting House on Sunday, Aug. 3, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
