CHESTER, Vt. – On Sunday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 25, Friends of Yosemite Firehouse Museum will host a walking tour featuring historic fires that took place on Main Street in Chester, as well as a lot of local history. Members of the public are invited to meet at the Cobleigh Field parking lot, at 1 p.m., for the program, which will take approximately 90 minutes and be led by Friends board member Shawn Cunningham. In order to hear the presentation well and to be able to view the photos that will accompany the talk, the number of participants needs to be limited. Therefore, those interested in attending should email yosemitefirehousemuseum@gmail.com in advance to make a reservation. Donations to Friends of Yosemite Firehouse Museum are requested to continue to help make the future museum a reality.
