“Celebrate Maple Sugaring” at BRAM

LUDLOW, Vt. – The Black River Academy Museum (BRAM) presents “Celebrate Maple Sugaring: A Vermont Tradition,” on Saturday, March 29, at 5:30 p.m. A fun-filled evening will be had by all in attendance.

Guest speaker Michael Lang will give a presentation on “The Meaning of Maple.” See Linda and George Thomson give a reading of poetry, as well as live performance by singer Michael Hammond of Peru. Hear a panel of sugar makers tell sweet tales, and enter the maple dessert contest. All desserts must be made with a minimum of ¼ cup of maple syrup. There are three categories: pie, cake, and other. Join the fun and support your local museum.
