SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Five Element Qigong is rooted in centuries-old Chinese medicine practices focused on exploring and cultivating life energy in ways that connect us with the seasons and their corresponding elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. Through these elemental practices we can create balance, harmony, and wellness in mind, body, spirit, and relationships with others and the natural world of which we are part.

Tai Chi Vermont-certified instructors Zhen Wolffe, Lisa Tedeschi, and Jo Bregnard are hosting this yearlong offering of five 90-minute sessions, and the second for Fire Season is Friday, June 27, from 1:30-3 p.m., at the Springfield Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse, 21 Fairground Road. Sessions include information, movement practices, and time for questions and discussion. Registrants will get access to session videos, along with an online community and informational handouts to continue their exploration and practice at home. Attend live in person, or online via Zoom, or watch the session recording afterwards. Each seasonal session supports Tai Chi Vermont, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing safe and effective tai chi instructor training throughout the state.
