SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Find tai chi at the intersection of structure and energy with “Moving from the Inside Out,” a series of in-person and online workshops offered quarterly throughout 2026. Play with what animates the movements of Fall-Prevention Tai Chi – the Sun style short form – and discover how enhancing your awareness can enrich practice time.
During the third session, on Friday, Sept. 4, the focus will be on the Level 2 movements: Brush Knee Twist Step, Play the Lute, Parry and Punch, and Carry Tiger/Push Mountain. Expect juicy conversation on meridians, anatomy, and more.
Tai Chi Vermont instructors Jo Bregnard and Zhen Wolffe are hosting the workshops from the Springfield Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse, 21 Fairground Road, from 1:30-3 p.m., four Fridays this year. Each 90-minute session includes a recording of the class for those who can’t attend live as well as those who want to review the material covered.
Attendees do not need to have attended previous sessions to register for this one; each workshop stands alone, so come to one, two, or more. All are welcome, no prior tai chi experience is necessary.
Register at www.taichivermont.org/register/p/moving-inside-level-2.
Please wear comfortable clothing and flat, closed-heel and -toe shoes, and bring a full water bottle. Contact Bregnard if you have additional questions by emailing jo@jobregnard.com.
