LONDONDERRY, Vt. – The Londonderry Volunteer Rescue Squad (LVRS) is hosting an emergency medical technician (EMT) class starting Oct. 4. There are still spots open for interested applicants. The deadline for applications, as well as the first class, is Oct. 4. This class will meet every Wednesday evening, and one weekend day a month. It will end in March of 2024.
This is a self-directed course through JB Learning (www.jblearning.com). There are online lectures and quizzes in addition to the hands-on classroom training. The cost of the class will be refunded if, after successfully completing the course, you become a full member of LVRS. Go to www.londonderryrescuevt.org for more information, or to enroll.
