ROCKINGHAM, Vt. – Slip into your favorite flannel and step into the heart of autumn at the Southern Vermont Flannel Festival, happening Saturday, Oct. 18, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 19, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., at Rockingham Hill Farm, 34 Meetinghouse Road, Rockingham, Vt.

This two-day celebration invites locals and visitors alike to slow down and savor the season in one of Vermont’s most breathtaking settings. Set against sweeping hilltop views, the festival offers live bluegrass and folk music, farm-fresh food and drink, artisan vendors, family activities, and all the cozy traditions that make fall in Vermont unforgettable.

Festivalgoers can stretch out on a picnic blanket beneath open skies, enjoy music mingling with the rustle of autumn leaves, and sip local cider or craft brews. Everywhere you turn, the festival promises sights, sounds, and flavors stitched together like your favorite flannel shirt.

Festival Highlights

More than 70 regional craft vendors, makers, and food trucks, with live music, family-friendly activities, and scenic hilltop views make this a quintessential Vermont autumn experience.

Come hungry and savor it all: craft brews, local wines, piping-hot chili, wood-fired pizza, crispy fries, gooey cheese curds, and authentic Mexican flavors. Sweeten your day with our Flannel Festival Bake-off – registration is still open at www.gfrcc.org/events/svff2025bake-off – featuring homemade pies served with creamy vanilla ice cream. Bakers will compete for bragging rights and prizes from King Arthur Baking Company, including a $75 gift card and blue ribbon for first place, $50 for second, and $25 for third. All pies are judged on taste and presentation, so bring your best crust forward.

On-site parking is limited to 400 cars. Please respect our neighbors – no on-street parking is allowed on Meetinghouse Road. Please carpool if you can. Park-and-ride lots are located near Interstate 91 Exit 6 and Exit 7.
