LUDLOW, Vt. – The Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (OVRCC) is pleased to announce the sixth annual Best of Vermont Summer Festival, set to take place on Saturday, Aug. 22, and Sunday, Aug. 23, at Okemo Field, located at the intersection of Route 103 and Bixby Road in Ludlow, Vt. Gates open both days from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., rain or shine. Now firmly established as one of south-central Vermont’s most beloved signature events, the festival brings together the best of the Okemo Valley – its makers, its musicians, its flavors, and the warm, community-rooted spirit that defines Vermont summers at their finest.
Attendees can expect a vibrant two-day marketplace alive with music and showcasing New England makers and artisans celebrating the Vermont spirit, fine art, specialty foods, maple and cheese producers, and craft beverage makers. An expanded family fun zone offers clown performances, face painting, and hands-on activities for younger visitors, while food trucks and a dining tent featuring New England lobster rolls round out the culinary offerings, all set against the sweeping backdrop of the Green Mountains.
The festival is made possible in part through the generous support of presenting sponsor Mary W. Davis Realtor & Associates, whose continued commitment to the Okemo Valley community exemplifies the spirit of local partnership.
