Vermont Witchcamp
August 24 @ 3:00 pm - August 30 @ 3:00 pm
PLYMOUTH, Vt. – ‘A bird of fire lives inside of me and when the breaking happens it reminds me to step into the burning so that I may rise. ‘
There are times in our lives where our plans go astray. We lose ourselves, our community, our magic. There are times when we feel like giving up, where trying is too hard, where stillness seems the only answer.
Embrace these times. The breaking, the stillness – these are only the openings to change, to your deep power. But first you must crack the shell of your old existence, step into the burning, welcome the flames of forging, and remember that you can fly. For we all have the Phoenix inside of us, and together we must do the work to set it free.
It’s been five long years since the last in-person Vermont Witchcamp. It is time to reconnect in the mountains of Vermont from Sat, Aug 24 – Friday, Aug 30, on Farm And Wilderness Road, Plymouth, Vt. Under the stars of this universe. On this land we call home. Camp planners are working diligently to weave in the threads of magic from the community visioning.
In the fullness of summer, close to 120 people of all genders and ages gather in the Green Mountains of Vermont to create a magical pagan community called Vermont Witchcamp. Our vision, rooted in the magic of the Goddess as the Immanent Life Force, is based on the reclaiming tradition of the craft. We gather together, rooted in the magic and religion of the sacred mysteries, manifesting a union of spirit and activism.
This is a magical intensive offering, an opportunity to deepen personal connection to the Sacred Realms. The intensive is sequestered for the entirety of camp. Please plan to attend for the full six days.
Camp is rustic, terrain is hilly and very steep, paths between are lightly tended and uneven, our time is spent mostly outside. Fees include lodging (choice of tent or cabin), all meals, programs, and waterfront. Cabins are three-sided, with lots of ventilation. There is no electricity in any of the cabins, with the exception of one shared, more accessible cabin. For questions or more information about terrain and mobility, please contact atcamp@vermontwitchcamp.net.
First-year campers can be matched up with experienced campers for communication pre-camp and connection on first day. Want to attend with your children? If you have not attended previously, please get in touch with us, parents@vermontwitchcamp.net.
Financial aid and work exchange opportunities are available.
