Vermont Golden Honey Festival

PROCTORSVILLE, Vt. – The 10th annual Vermont Golden Honey Festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Golden Stage Inn, 399 Depot Street, Proctorsville, Vt.

The 10th annual Vermont Golden Honey Festival is co-hosted by two local beekeepers and business owners, Jess Goodman of Goodman’s American Pie in Ludlow, Vt. and Julie-Lynn Wood of Golden Stage Inn in Proctorsville, Vt. Always the Second Saturday of September, the festival is part food festival, part craft fair, and all local fun. Hosting over 35 vendors, the festival is located on the spacious lawn of Golden Stage Inn in Proctorsville. Visitors can browse the booths for locally made products such as wood-turned bowls, raw honey, local beef, honey mead and kombucha, painted wine glasses, silver jewelry, watercolors, more raw honey, pure maple syrup, fine table linens, hot fudge and caramel sauces, children’s toys, and even more raw honey! This year, Sammy B will perform live music in the earlier part of the day, and Proctorsville’s own Outer Limits Brewing will be serving their beer. The event’s signature product is Honey Apple Pizza made fresh by Goodman’s American Pie on their vintage pizza truck wood fired oven. Other foods offered will include tacos and vegan and traditional BBQ pork sandwiches. Younger visitors will have the opportunity to make small crafts, get their faces painted, and practice old fashioned candle dipping with real beeswax. Admission to the festival is free, but donations are accepted and there are tons of products you’ll want to buy for yourself and for others!
