Service of Darkness at St. Mary’s Church Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – St. Mary’s Church, 38 Pleasant Street in Springfield, Vt. will hold a Service of Darkness on the Monday of Holy Week, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. This is a beautiful and prayerful service that makes use of gradually diminishing light through the extinguishing of candles to symbolize the events of Jesus’ final hours. It allows you to ponder the impact of Christ’s death and await the coming resurrection. Just stop by, sit , and take it in. A great way to start your Holy Week.
