Folk Mountain Vespers
September 7 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Don and Donna Mohl will be presenting a gospel vespers at the First Congregational Church in Springfield, Vt., on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 6:30 p.m. The Mohl’s have been traveling around the country since 1988, sharing the love of Jesus through music and song.
Their music is a blend of “mountain” and “folk” style gospel, and they play traditional and Biblical instruments such as the bowed psaltery, hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, zither, banjo, autoharp, guitar, and harmonica. There is also a time to sing the good old hymns of faith, more recent gospel songs, and some songs that their family has written related to family values, the grace of Jesus, our Savior, and the love of God. Come and enjoy some folk mountain music and heartwarming stories designed to encourage and inspire. You can visit their website at www.folkmountaingospel.com to find out more.
Program sponsored by the Charlestown/Springfield Seventh-day Adventist Church, and hosted at the First Congregational Church of Springfield, located at 77 Main Street in Springfield, Vt. There is no charge for attending, but a love offering will be taken to defray expenses.
